what birds can be shipped in the bird box?
All avian species, chickens (large fowl and bantam), waterfowl, game fowl, duck, geese (goslings), turkey (poults), swan (cygnets), pheasants, guineas, quail, pigeons, doves, canaries, and more, can all be safely shipped in our live bird shipping boxes.
WILL THE BIRD BOX ARRIVE PREASSEMBLED?
Minor assembly is required. Shipping our boxes flat enables us to keep our customer costs low. Simply fold into shape using the provided instructions printed on the bottom of the box.
How many birds fit in the bird box?
This is dependent upon the size and breed of the bird. A divider can be placed in the box to fit two chickens comfortably, with minimal effort.
what postal service do you recommend?
The Bird Box has been specifically designed to meet the standards of the US Postal Service. Live bird boxes must be shipped by way of Express Mail. Some postal services have restrictions on shipping live animals to certain zip codes. You will need to confirm your destination and any specific requirements with your postal service of choice.
