the bird box has been specifically designed to meet the standards of the US Postal Service and all live birds must be shipped by way of express mail.
C&J Supplies recommends shipping on mondays and tuesdays to ensure a safe and timely delivery. Avoid shipping just prior to holidays and during possible inclement weather conditions.
remember to only ship healthy birds.
for the safety and comfort of your bird, it should be fed and watered at least two hours before shipping.
Before packing your bird, bed the bird box with a sufficient amount of absorbent material such as shavings, straw, or shredded newspaper.
The Bird Boxes can easily be taped together in units of 2 or 3 to save on postal charges. Please note that the boxes must be taped together front-to-back, front-to-back, front-to-back for the visibility of shipping information and inspection door accessibility. Do not block air holes and avoid direct sunlight. See images below:
